“After the Storm” by Misty Phillips -- A rough thunderstorm rolled through the little town of Reliance, where this photo was captured. The rain had stopped right as the sun began to set behind the clouds, creating the most spectacular sunset I’ve ever seen! I absolutely had to capture the moment to share this beautiful scene of the fog on the lake with the flora and amazing colors of the sky that this sunset cast.

“Fall in the Foothills” by Misty Phillips -- Taken at the very beginning of fall, as the colors started changing at higher elevations in our wondrous mountains. The bright sun made the most beautiful glare and orbs in the photo.

“Great Smokies Snowfall” by Misty Phillips -- This photo was captured at one of the many breathtaking pull-offs in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It snowed that day and I wanted to see the snow from a higher elevation, coating the miles of mountains in a blanket of beauty!

“Wandering Among the Waterfalls” by Misty Phillips -- This photo was taken at Stinging Fork Falls on a sunny, beautiful spring day. The leaves started to grow back on the trees after winter. I trekked down what seemed like a rocky cliffside to get to the bottom, and the view was well worth the journey. The sun shone bright through the trees from behind the falls, allowing me to capture such beautiful orbs in this shot!

“Buzzing Beauty” by Misty Phillips -- I wanted to take my macro lens outside and photograph my mother’s beautiful mums at the beginning of fall. I was surprised to see this cute, fuzzy bee sitting on one of the flowers since it was coming into the fall months and bees seemed to have gone away. I absolutely had to snag a photo of this buzzing beauty!
